He was chief financial officer and a director of Ssafen plc and Lucky Minerals Inc and a principal at Industry Capital LLC, where he developed its energy platform, focusing on Oil & Gas and power in North America and the emerging markets. The firm used a bottom-up approach, ensuring funding structures correlated with opportunities and utilising their portfolio companies Vflare and Vfuels to develop projects.
Francis has a BA from King’s College London.
Matteo has 20 years of experience in the chemical and energy markets, supporting clients in assignments that require the integration
of technology and business.
He worked in international projects with engineering and managerial rules, traveling and living across Europe, North America and Asia.
Matteo holds a Ms in Engineering and a MBA.
27 years proven success leading oil & gas projects and operations for well-reputed organisations. Methodical and result-oriented professional with extensive hands-on experience in projects worldwide within oil and gas industry.
Main positions include GM at Petrofac Nigeria and EWT, Operations Manager for Technip, COO at Winex Petroleum Nigeria or Project Management Consultant for Total, Dragon Oil, Danagas and KCADeutag.
Helga joined Majlis Energy in 2022. She has experience in both sustainability and finance.
She worked in the fisheries equipment company Hampidjan for 2 years as an Environmental Specialist.
She made Hampidjan’s first environmental policy as well as setting up their environmental system and got
it certified with ISO 14001 certification. Helga has an MSc in corporate finance and a double Bs degree in business administration and fisheries science.
David joined MajlisEnergy in 2022. He has spent nearly a decade in the energy sector, primarily focusing on accounting, financial reporting, investment banking,
portfolio management analysis, project consulting and corporate finance. Prior to joining MajlisEnergy he was Senior External Auditor at EY and Financial Analyst at ExxonMobil.
David has an MSc degree in Petroleum Energy Economics and Finance from the University of Aberdeen. Currently, He is a final-year PhD candidate focusing on climate risks in capital
structures study at the Queen Mary University of London.
